yesterday, i read spielberg described as the world's most overated director and i have to say that i agree against my own childhood instincts. i wanted him to be as warm and good as i remember my tears to be while watching e.t. or ceo3k. i always thought he would become one of the greats like kurozawa, hitchcock, even welles (not really...). alas, it's not to be.
