chris ferebee at 521 design is someone whose work i discovered while we still had the store and whom i like very much. he is one of those people who is not limited by labels or specialties, he expresses himself through whatever medium represents best his creative impulse of the moment. that can be furniture, photography, graphic design, you name it. he is part of a growing group of people who see the world at large with artistic glasses and will not be held back by categories; sure the work is harder to get when you might not be able to (or for that matter want to) define yourself with a succinct title right underneath your name but at least you feel like yourself. and chris feels that way.
