i have just discovered (and by discovered i of course mean was led by my pornography addiction and subsequently fell in love with) helena karel and am deeply smitten. i don't mind the color of her skin and i don't mind what's under her skin. in other words, i could look at her for a while... not that i'm obsessed or anything, i just love beauty. there was a time when design mattered in consumer goods. and i don't mean mattered in order to promote a product or to fit a certain niche, i mean design because it was important to, because new typologies were at hand and experiments needed to happen. what some would call space age design would lead to braun which would lead to andrée putman which would lead to jasper morrison.

an 8 year-old who passed a note saying 'i love you' to one of his (lovely) classmates has been thrown out of school for sexual harrassment and assault. no problem here, that little creep should be put in lock down right away before he infects the whole school. love...
