Picture_5_11does carlo pieroni love women? i believe so. does he like to remember them the way his dad used to love them? absolutely. pinups are not easy pictures to take because it's not just the look of the girl or which body part she allows a peek at but the activity that makes it sexy. whether it's picking up a balloon, fishing for bass or trying on a new captain's hat, these ladies are busy doing something and that is what made our dads hot, women doing something, just imagine...

i don't know why but i just got the urge to revisit a dark moment in our recent history: when the laughter stopped right after 9.11. maybe it's this rainy new york morning on this last friday of summer but i really wanted to see again how two of my favorite tv people had handled the back-on-the-air broadcast. call it morbid, call it voyeuristic, call them jon and dave.

i find the work of franziska sinn quite fascinating because it plays with the perception of context. you think you've got an environment figured out and it switches on you, literally. the work reminds you never to fully trust your surroundings, that displaced or misplaced objects can change meaning. beautiful!

Picture_2_94first and foremost this morning, i'd like to welcome all you lovely MoCoLoCo readers who have been unceremoniously summoned to this page, a haven if you will, for found souls, where you belong. if this is your first time, let me briefly explain what The Apartment is all about (all you regulars can skip directly to the porn.) we are a creative agency which means that we deal in all that involves creative impulses directed at sophisticated audiences for whom we tackle graphic things, interior things, commercial things, opinionated things or product things as long as they tell a story. that is what we do.

who we are, on the other hand, is a completely different affair. we're mostly observers and artful regurgitators which results in an amount of data that we feel needs to be shared, which is exactly what you are reading now. welcome to our brain recycling plant, enjoy the process and have a nice day.

8_4do you remember a kinder time, when kids were allowed to gently roll from one side to the other in the back of dad's taurus and the best way to protect yourself from nuclear fallout was to duck and cover? those were the days! now, we can all relive that golden age of carelessness and racism through a wonderful collection of vintage ads that will have you wondering: why is heroin not considered medicine anymore?

uwe boll, the scintillating german director of such opus as bloodrayne and house of the dead seems to have a bad reputation in the critical community for his seeming lack of, say, quality control. none of his movies seem to make money, yet he has 4 more in production for the next two years, so either there's a hell of a loophole in german law or he'd better be prepared to fight his critics for the rest of his natural life. oh...

taxidermy is coming back (never left) in a big way and non-cruel derivative trends are hitting the streets such as this hivemindesign stag mirror made out of one of our favorite materials, polished stainless steel. love it!
